What's new in the Skill Lab
Changes you'll notice when you play, newest first.
Share your Daily with a friend
The link in your shared Daily 05 result now shows your friend your medals and ticks when they open it, right above the same five games.
Daily 05
Five quick games a day, the same five for everyone, with the same questions. Each counts once; finish all five to keep a daily streak, and share your result (medals and ticks, never scores).
Your month, and a break reminder
In the first week of a month, see last month as a story: days played, the skills you practised most and your most improved game, ready to print. A new break reminder in Settings suggests a pause after 15, 30 or 60 minutes a day (30 in Kids mode).
Welcome back
Coming back? The home page now shows your streak and a button straight into the game you played last.
Keep your progress
Save a backup of your progress and restore it on any device. On iPhone, Safari clears website data after 7 days away, so the Skill Lab now helps you add Street 05 to your Home Screen, where it’s kept.
Pick for me, and your own medals
Not sure what to play? “Pick for me” chooses a game and says why. After three rounds of a game, you get bronze, silver and gold targets set from your own scores, so every medal is within reach.
Monday recap and players side by side
On Mondays, a short recap of last week. On a shared device, see each player’s streak and rounds this week side by side. A game’s controls now show beside the start button on your first go.
Your streak and settings follow you
With “Save progress to your account” on, your play streak, skill of the week and settings move with you between devices.
Settings for each player
Game sounds, calm mode (no timer in quiz games), colour assist, reduced motion and larger text, kept separately for each player on a device.
A gentler start, and streaks with a rest day
Your first round of every short game is a slower warm-up that doesn’t count for records. Play streaks allow one rest day a week, so a busy day doesn’t end them.
Players, favourites and real game art
Up to eight players on one device, each with their own progress. “Continue playing” and “Your favourites” rows, real gameplay pictures on the game cards, and score cards to challenge a friend.
